Nutramigen

Have recently discovered that my DD is allergic to dairy we believe so I've had to cut all dairy from my diet since I am only breastfeeding. Which S U C K S. My pediatrician said Nutramigen would really be our only option for formula right now. Although my insurance (GHI) will cover it - $35 for 400 grams, I think it is actually cheaper over the counter. The cheapest I can find is at BRU, $35 for 19.8 oz. (561 grams). Has anyone had any experience with this and do you know any place that carries it for cheaper??

Re: Nutramigen

it is the same price no matter where you go :( if you call enfamil and join the power of 2 program they send you rebates...which is in addition to their coupons/checks.

fyi that stuff smells so bad...my dd hated it at first

Re: Nutramigen

DD did great on it, never had any probs. the best prices I found were on target.com.

And in the store, maybe 2x the whole yr she was on it, they ran a sale for 29.99/can.

Re: Nutramigen

We use Nutrimagen. We have Blue Cross Blue Sheild. We pay 10 percent of the cost- insrance picks up the rest. $4 per can- at the store it is ridiculously expensive. PM me and I'll see if I can help you out a bit...

Re: Nutramigen

DD is on it. They have a rebate program. Join that. Also ask your pediatrician for samples when you go. My mom had purchased a ton of $5 coupons on eBay for me once real cheap, so those helped a lot.
