How do you get past this hard stage
When you've decided to make a committment to lose weight and work out, and you're doing well, but you go to try on clothes and still feel gross?
I know things don't happen overnight. I know it's a journey, but how do you keep it in perspective?
I just got so down today.

Keep trying on old clothes...all of a sudden one day they will be huge. Take body measurements at least once a month, do something else for yourself...get nice new makeup, a workout outfit, get your hair done, etc. Safe weight loss takes time....it is not healthy to lose too quickly...it is also much easier to gain it all back and then some if you lose to quickly. You will see differences if you stick with it!

No matter how thin or how fit you are there are ALWAYS going to be days like that...Keep focused on your goal and like a pp said track your measurements.

Just stick with it. The first few weeks are the worst because, if you are like me, You are tight in your clothes already. So you almost need to lose double the amount you need for a size to get through the first size. You will see a difference. It just takes a while. Hang in there.
