Blue eyeliner/Brown eyes

Can I use blue eyeliner? I had red somewhere that it would accent my brown eyes, but I am not sure.

If I did, what color eye makeup would go with that?

I use light purple eyeliner under my eyes and black on top. I always wear a shimmery light light pink eyeshadow. I have dark brown eyes and I cannot wear black eyeliner on the bottom without looking like I got beat up for some reason. I get lots of compliments on how I wear my eye makeup too. I think the blue would work just the same as the purple for me.

of course you can you can do teal or navy eyeliner and pair it with a golden color on the lid and a soft or deeper brown in the crease.

if you want it to stand out more, use the eyeliner on your upper lash line or if you just wanted something more subtle or toned down use it in your waterline.
