Hands up...who cried at graduation?
I cried the night before...steeled myself on the day..thought I was good...then the principal stood up and read a sappy poem about how far they have come this year and to stop and remember all the little moments in life etc etc and out they came...the big fat tears rolling down my face...rolling so fast I couldn't contain them or even get a tissue out of my bag so I sat there and let them fall...as DH looked at me 
That was yesterday ...then today came time to say goodbye to DD's kindergarten teachers and off I went again....
Please tell me I am not the only one who has spent the past two days crying at school.

i did good all through graduation, just teared up once.....then they played let them be little as they were walking out and that got me!!

Hands up...who cried at graduation?
I did! And than last night I was reading the book with DD "I Knew You Could" that was given to her by her teacher and I couldn't get through the book. Time goes too fast!!

I was SUPER emotional leading UP to the graduation.. but surprisingly dry eyed at the actual event. And they TRIED to manipulate the heartstrings with their speeches - and they had the kids sing these sweet, maudlin songs.. but it was awesome. I actually did cry later.. when I was looking at Robbie's yearbook with him.
It's amazing how fast it all goes! My first child - my first baby - is on his way to middle school!!

My dd graduated 5th grade last year. She had the best teacher....someone who was born to teach. Needless to say I cried that we were leaving her, and that my baby was moving on....it was so bad her teacher told me she couldn't even look at me because she would have lost it too.

I teared up at the elementry graduation because they had pics of all the kids from pre-k through 6th grade all on the big screen, it was just alot seeing them grow up through the years!

It was the cutest thing ever. Amelia and her buddy Chase were the last 2 in, as they are the 2 smallest in the school. So she was right in the front.

I did fine though graduation but the clapout I got teary eyed. I was fine until I saw the girls breaking down on their way out from school.
He's still my little boy, just not so little anymore.

I got a little teary eyed at my son's Kindergarten Graduation but nothing major. Guess cuz he's coming back to the same school. Last year at his Pre-K Graduation I cried like a baby! He was with that school since he was 2. The bonds we formed with people and the love and laughter that was shared was so amazing. After I finally calmed down, they go and play a video of all the good times they had in the pre-school and I lost it again. I was hysterical crying! Good thing they gave us all a copy of that DVD cuz I watched it at home the next day and really got to appreciate it...LOL
I think if I watch it now I will cry cuz my baby is now going to 1st grade. He has officially entered the Grade school years...
