Chipped tooth
I chipped my tooth at dinner, so not happy! Anyway what kinda cost is involved with that. I know it all depends but just want to have an idea what I'm in for. It's my front tooth, there's a piece missing at the bottom and like a sliver missing from the front. Any ideas?

Re: Chipped tooth
Hopefully it just needs to be bonded and a bonding on a front tooth really does depend on what your insurance is.
For me, with EDP would be like $50-$80 - depending on how big the chip was.
Without insurance, I have no clue. But if you don't have insurance, EDP is really a great plan. Has saved me tons of money through the years.
Single Plan $99 year
Couple Plan $179 year (we have this)
Family plan $199 year
Can be less if you join for longer then 1 year.
Good luck!

Re: Chipped tooth
I chip my front tooth a few times a year. Unfortunately bonding does not always stay. I do have dental insurance and usually pay around $100-$200 but I also go to a dentist in Midtown Manhattan, I would hope it would be cheaper elsewhere (I wish I could still go on LI but when a tooth chips, I need to get it fixed fast!)

Do you have a good dentist who accepts this? If so, please tell me who!

Re: Chipped tooth
I just found a new dentist (the one i was seeing messed up a root cnal - long story)
I found a this dentist in deer park Dr. Raphaelson who was recommended by a few people on here and when I researched them a little more, decided it's where i will be going next.
They have a lot of dentists on staff who specialize in different things. Plus the fact that it's a father son and daughter team - I love it. Makes me feel they care even more about their practice.
