kid's furniture places on li...with bunk beds
i know there are plenty of stores online that have great deals on buying bunk beds but we want to go to furniture places so that we could see bunk beds setup so we could see how sturdy they really are before purchasing.....we went to the bedroom source in glen cove ..... are there any other places like that they we can go and take a look?

We were skeptical of the online thing too but ended up reading reviews. We purchased ours from bunkbedking. We couldn't be happier. The quality is amazing. Only downfall is you have to assemble yourself. Dh and my father in law had it done in a few hours. Best part was the price. We did twin over full for under 400.

Ours is the Young America by Stanley brand. They sell it at Behr's and have it on display so you can sit on it, etc. We didn't buy ours from Behr's but we went there to look at all the details. We bought half a bunk bed lol. The set we bought, it's a twin bed with the option of buying a second twin and it goes on top of the one we already have to make it bunk beds and if down the line from that they don't want bunk beds anymore it goes right into two beds again. I liked that we had so many options with it.

I saw one on that website but i don't know if I'm in love with it.....the only problem with them is the selection, not a big one....but they look very sturdy and the pricing was great...thanks for the recco

i heard about bob's! only thing is my dh stopped into one and said he didn't like the quality too much, so I went by his judgement because he is handy and knows about stuff like that....so we never went back....im wondering if it was just the quality of the bob's that he went to???....thank you!!!!

We got my ds's at furn-a-kit, it's on Sunrise Highway, all the way out east. It was put together in the store, but you do have to put it together yourself. Online, at sleepys the same bed was 1500, we paid 700 for it. It was definitely less expensive to go that route, and since DH is handy, it worked out well.

We got the one at Bobs with the steps and drawers. It is very solid. We jammed way too much crap into one of the drawers and broke it. They came right away and fixed it. No questions asked. We are very happy with it. It's been over a year.
