Weird Question

So I'm about 7 wks pregnant and I have a plantars wart on my toe. I've had it since before I was pregnant. I went to a podiatrist to get it frozen (my OB said it was okay) but in between now and my next visit the dr wants me to put medicine on it that has Sacrilyic Acid in it. I don't think I am allowed to use that...anybody else ever have this problem???

they say in pregnancy books that you shouldn't use things that contain salicylic acid however when i went to my obgyn they told me that it was ok if i used my face wash that contained it if i was using it sporadically. salicylic acid is actually asprin so if your allowed baby dose of asprin during pregnancy im sure your allowed to use it .....However I would call your obgyn first to make sure its allowed to be used everyday, I wouldnt just take peoples opinions.

Weird Question

Ask the OB. I was told something by the podiatrist because I'd broken my toe the same week I found out I was pregnant and when I went for a follow-up they had me put on a certain cream that I read was a no-no when pregnant. I talked to my OB and he said the amount I needed to use was perfectly ok.
