Re: Weight gain during pregnancy?
First of all your dr. sounds like a jerk. Don't make yourself feel bad. Your body gains what it needs for the baby. If you aren't gaining a lot its not bc the baby isn't growing or gaining weight. You are prob. losing and the baby is gaining. You should be proud of yourself. This really bothers me. I don't consider myself "plus" but I am not small either. I would yell back at that dr.
Nest time you go for a sono drink so OJ

Re: Weight gain during pregnancy?
That doesn't sound right to me. Two pounds in 19 weeks is nothing. You are definitely eating healthier or less calories than before. I have a friend who was probably 280 when she got pregnant and her doctor was proud of her for changing her diet and only gaining 17 lbs. Sorry you are dealing with this. You don't need a doc making you feel like crap.

I might have to speak in stones from this point forward when it comes to my weight. Makes it sound so much better :)
