lovenox girls..
so i have been on 200 mg forever lol..i am use to it by now and the bruises etc
every once ina while i must hit a vein or something bc i take out the needle and bled forever..i am ok with that
this happened yesterday and tonight when i went to do my second shot i noticed what can only be described as a small head sticking out of the side of my belly
it is one of those blood clot/hard spots
i have gotten these many times before but this one is big..big like u can see the shape through my shirt
should i call my hemo? i did not hurt the babies right? i know they r normal but r the big ones normal too?

im sure you didnt hurt the babies because it is something on the surface of your skin, not deep in your uterus, and if you have gotten those before i am sure it is ok, but based on your history it cant hurt to call just to double check.

I guess you are injecting in your stomach? I just started lovenox and my ob/neuro/high risk ob all recommended doing it in my thigh just to be overly cautious in case something like what happened to you happens. It is probably nothing to worry about but if you want to call the doctor to make sure, I would do that.
I have a pretty nasty bruise that I just keep watching it to make sure that everything is ok

The babies im sure are fine. I might call the hemo because of the bump. After the birth you will probably drop down in dosage. So there is an end in sight. Hang in there

I am sure the babies are fine. Are you injecting in the belly or thighs? During pregnancy I would inject in the thigh but I would apply a heat pack prior to injecting to avoid bruising but the clot should dissolve but I would call your hemo just to be safe.

Babies are fine. I get the hard spots too but never any you can see through my clothes, call hematologist if concerned

thanks everyone!
all is fine..it is a bit bigger and more bruised but a ok from doc...he said i just hit a bad spot
i am use to my belly and sides,been on this for years and when i did my thighs for mw it hurt way more

lovenox girls..
i used my belly throughout my pregnancy. towards the end i was more at the hips cause there was no place to grab in front since it was all stretched out. when i went in the hopsital they did all the injects (which was so annoying, id rather do them) and they did most of them in my thighs which hurt and/or bruised a bit more than when i did them myself.

ita! thighs def hurt me and when i was in the hospital for the dvt they gave me the lovenox even after i said i could do it myself and she jabbed me in the hip and i wanted to scream lol
