What did you do with your 6 week old each day? She's eating/sleeping r/o

every 4 hrs or so. In between we sing songs, go for walks, walk around the house, sometimes do tummy time or generally chill on the couch. Should I being doing more?

At what age do you start using activity mats with the thingies that hang above the baby? Thanks!

At 6 weeks DC should definitely like the play mat. DD used to stare and smile at the star at the top of hers that played music and lit up. I used to joke that she would join a cult if that thing asked her to she adored it so much!

Another favorite was this FP Snail. It plays music and lights up at the slightest touch so it was the first thing she could actually work herself. She still likes it now at 6 months.

Other than that, we played on a blanket or in the bouncer with me showing her toys, having her practice holding them, or reading to her.
