My 7 week old went from sleeping all day long to not sleeping at all!
My DS is 7 weeks old and he usually sleeps about 20 hours a day... only waking up to play a bit and eat. For the past 2-3 days, he just refuses to sleep during the day! He sleeps great at night (which I'm SO thankful for) but just doesn't want to go down during the day. It's not even that his belly hurts or something bc he is happy as can be!
Did this happen with anyone else's infant? Is this how it will be from now on? If it is, I'm OK with that bc I love this time with him... I just depended on the napping to get stuff done around here.

If I remember correctly around 7-8 weeks is when my baby "woke up". She started lseeping a lot less during the day. She wasnt so much of a newborn or a "sleepy baby" anymore.
She would still nap though, I think around that age avg, of 4 times a day. Even if they were little 30 min. cat naps.

This was DS exactly at 8 weeks.. at almost 5 months old he is stilll a cat napper.. but STTN!

that was around the time DD stopped sleeping all day and then went to taking cat naps from about 2-5 months lol i was very tired but eventually she went back to napping decent amounts.
He's just more alert now

I guess this is the new normal! lol I was getting too spoiled with all the sleep!
