**Official Power Restoration Thread** (location & when it came back)
Just got this text from LIPA. MyLIPA: 700K to be restored by 11/4. Some customers: addt'l wk. or more. Excl. hardest hit flood areas. Will advise when new info available. Looks like a good deal of people should have power restored today or tomorrow.

LIPA tree service was in my neighborhood.......Stony Brook. All broken branches have been cleared in my yard and on the block. National Grid trucks are now on my block as well as surrounding blocks............power should be up and running soon. Fingers crossed!!!

we've been out since about 430pm on Monday and are still out in west babylon. about half a block away from us in all directions has been restored, but our little clump of houses is still out. It makes us think we are really low on the priority list and might not be coming back up any time soon.
I won't complain though, we are nice and warm at my parents' place and escaped the hurricane with just some downed tree limbs and no power for awhile - could've been much worse...
