40 weeks on wednesday and i got nothing...lol...but they are inducing me on sunday if nothing happens this week so i guess I'll end up with a november baby

I never got a chance to update you girls either. Aiden Matthew was born on Oct 4. My water broke at 5 am that morning but I ended up needing an emergency c-section because I wasn't dilating past 7 cm. It turns out the cord was wrapped around the baby's neck twice and once around his body so there's no way I could have had a vaginal delivery. Here's a pic of Aiden after his first bath:

This storm has me thinking about all the October moms with newborns at home to take care of ( I'm nervous that we'll be out of power for days and it will be so much harder to care for my DD - changing diapers by candle light, not fun!). Be safe and good luck to everyone to keep their power. And good luck to any ladies who may go into labor during this. At least the hospitals should have power but it still would suck to have to come home to no power. Hoping Sandy turns out not to be as bad as they're predicting!

just checking in with the october mom's... we're officially into november now and yet missing sooooo many updates. i'm sure some are without power and dealing with the wrath of sandy - and perhaps some dealing with newborns - but i just wanted to check in and bump for everyone. hopefully get some updates??? hope all the october mommies are okay and weathered the storm without any devestation

as for me... i am now 10 days overdue... i was 1cm dilated as of wednesday. i had a sono and went on the nst today just to make sure is okay - and she is. no internal though. my induction is scheduled for monday morning at 7:30am, if she doesn't show her pretty little face this weekend.

i'm glad there going to induce you at least it gives a date to look forward too...im going in sunday morning to be induced im just hoping it goes smoothly and i dont end up with a c section...im too only 2 cm dialted and have been that way for weeks so i hope this goes well...I cant wait to see pics of your little

i have the same worries/fears... no c-sections for us! We started together, we're finishing together - good luck to u!! Keep me posted

My October baby arrived on November 4th...Kylie Marie was born at 7:28pm weighing 7lbs 4 oz and 20 inches Long....we're both doing great but it was definitly harder than I thought it was gonn be...I'll post a pic when I get home tomorrow

Hey ladies I was due on October 29th (the day of the hurricane) but baby had other plans and arrived on October 14th. I woke up that am with mild contractions and went to the hospital at 1pm. After being examined I was already 6cm dilated and had no clue. Thomas Stephen was born at 8:05 pm and only 40 mins of pushing which I must say felt like 40 days! He is amazing and we are so in love with him. What a blessing!

I wanted to post from my computer and include pics but we lost cable/internet again since yesterday so ill post them when i can...
Aubree Rose Kelly FINALLY joined us in this world on monday, november 5th at 5:33pm weighing 7lbs 15oz, 21 inches long
i went in at 7am for my scheduled induction but it was meant to be my little girls birthday no matter what i think, bc i woke up having contractions every 5min since about 4am. Honestly, i thought the contractions was the worst pain i could have ever imagined or anticipated - but the pushing (1 hr & 20 min) wasn't bad... either way I'd do it again & again to have this angel here with me.
It was such a long road to get here and i am truly blessed and utterly in love.
we came home from the hospital yesterday about noon, just in time for her 1st snowstorm lol

Sorry i've been MIA lately - life with a baby is much more hectic than i had imagined (even though i don't ultimately do anything other than feed & change him lol). Gabriel was 4 weeks old yesterday - i can't believe how much he's changed since birth!

Glad to see everyone's updates and that all of the October mommies & babies are doing well
