Q If you've been on the 17 Day Diet
I am going to try this, as I need to lose the rest of my baby weight... I am reading the plan of what to eat, however I am confused because the author lists you should eat 2 servings of a low sugar fruit and 2 servings of a probiotic daily. He gives a sample of a typical day as: breakfast- egg whites OR a probiotic serving, and 1 fruit serving, lunch is lean protein with veggies OR 1 probiotic serving plus veggies, dinner is lean protein and veggies plus a fat serving. Snacks are 2nd fruit and 2nd probiotic serving... Does this mean you have to eat a probiotic at either breakfast or lunch? Would also know if you found it easy to stick to.. TIA!

Re: Q If you've been on the 17 Day Diet
Hi, I have done the 17 day diet and did pretty well on it and maintained. I am going to start a 3rd round the week after being off of it for a few months. First of all, I do want to mention that don't do it if you are nursing. It will affect your milk supply.
With your question, my probiotic consisted of either 0% greek yogurt (plain - yogurt with fruit adds calories.....or if you do the fruit, I counted it as a fruit), plain kefir that I would blend with berries or kimchi (I liked it but I also like Korean food).
I would do the fruits before 2/3pm. I think I read it in the book. Breakfast would be egg whites or yogurt or kefir. I would have a piece of fruit if it was yogurt or eggs. I also would do a snack of fruit around 10am. Lunch would be protein and veggies and well as dinner. I saved the other probiotic for after dinner.
Hope that helps.
