Eating healthy during pregnancy...
Please share your with me some healthy meals and snack ideas! I am having major meat aversions. I have been slowly getting off the Christmas Cookie band wagon and back to fruits and veggies but am looking for some new ideas. I don't know exactly how much weight I have gained so far (I'm at 20 weeks) as I have always struggled with food/eating issues and think seeing the high numbers on the scale iwll only stress me out. I was underweight when I got pregnant (I was actually surprised I was even ovulating...SO blessed and thankful!) and my doctor said I will most likely gain more than the average because I needed it but I don't want to get out of control.
The fact that a student told me I look as pregnant as her Aunt who is 8 months pregnant made me very unhappy! lol i know kids have no real concept of this stuff and I know I am not big but still nervous!
Any tips? Thanks!

Crashing...
try doing a search on here for sample GD diet meals. I never ate better than i did when I had to follow it. I know I posted a lot of suggestions over the past year and a half, and I believe there were a couple of threads where many people shared their meal ideas.
I had a complete aversion to chicken. To make up for it I ate a lot of beans for protein. One of my favorites was a "burrito" wrap - i used whole wheat/low carb wrap, black beans, salsa, jalapenos, low fat shredded cheddar, and fat free sour cream.

Re: Eating healthy during pregnancy...
I ate really poorly over the holidays and because of the no drinking policy I'm adhering to, I drank so much sugary type drinks (Lemonade, juice etc). I'm sure I just packed on weight with liquid calories but I'll just to be better from here on out.
The winter makes it harder for some reason!

Having a healthy diet shld be the same if you were not pregnant (at least for me). Lots of fruits and veggies (will help out with constipation), lean proteins, fish, no white carbs, whole grains, lots of water or seltzer. If your not into meat, egg whites, beans, skim milk, low fat cheeses, peanut butter will give you some good proteins. Don't forget about exercise, this is key to feeling good, decrease bloating and boast depleting energy.
