Re: when did you take dc to the dentist?
Carlie just turned 3 and has seen the dentist 3 times already. I think I started taking her at like 18 months or 2 years?

Re: when did you take dc to the dentist?
We took our DD at age 2. She goes every six months for a cleaning. We started earlier because our dentist is my uncle so she was very comfortable going and having her teeth done.

when did you take dc to the dentist?
DD's pediatric dentist told me that unless there is a noticeable issue she recommends 2 years old so that's when I started with DS. I started brushing DS's teeth with the infant fluoride free toothpaste as soon as they came in. Prior to that I used a wet baby washcloth on his gums at least once a day to get any formula off.

Re: when did you take dc to the dentist?
Ped said two years, went to a pediatric dentist who wants her to come every 6 months but I can see going every year, it's kind of a waste at this age in my opinion.

Re: when did you take dc to the dentist?
I usually tell my patients to bring the LO around 2-- mostly to get comfortable with the dental office and make sure the growth patterns are normal. They will get a cleaning and check up but no fluoride treatment until around 5/6 depending if they have cavities.

He is 15 months....he has 4 on top, and 4 on the bottom. Just went to get checked.....he molars are coming in...let us know what we should be doing and things he should avoid eating (this was my pediatric dentist as a child)
He will go back when hes 2.

Re: when did you take dc to the dentist?
We were told we should have started at 18 months to 2 years.
I have the first appointment scheduled for 3.5 years. I dont think my DD will open her mouth for the dentist.

when did you take dc to the dentist?
My dentist said he could come in to get used to the office at 2 but he'd just count his teeth. Other than that he said come in at 3.

when did you take dc to the dentist?
I just sent dd at 3.5 - meant to go a lil earlier. We took her to our reg dentist and they counted her teeth, showed her how to brush properly and cleaned her teeth. She left w some goodies so it was a good experience overall.
