ocular migraines
Does anyone get these? I got them a few years ago but haven't had then since 2008. I got one two weeks ago so bad that i had to leave work, now I have another one and the pain is unbearable!!! It's on my list of questions for tomorrow but is there anything other than Tylenol and caffeine I can take?

I get them normally and I could not take anything during my pregnancy. I was lucky and only ended up havign one.
It is probably because of the change in hormones.

This is the one day this week I didn't have my cup of coffee, I made tea but I just started drinking it now. Do you think that could be it????

I would def take Tylenol and have a soda or something.
I was lucky and didn't have but the one. Since my pregnancy they have come back more than ever.
I started seeign someone cause they have been so bad.
I would just always have a little caffiene for the day and take tylenol asap when you get one.

I had some tea and it helped some, but I am stuck at work in front of a computer screen which is not helpful!!!

Re: ocular migraines
i used to get them bi-weekly (years ago - pre pregnancy) so i know exactly how you feel
I would suggest having some coffee and then shutting your eyes for a few minutes. if you can, dim the lights in your office or something...sit in your car...just have some quiet time

ocular migraines
I've been getting migraines almost daily since week 11. Some things that have helped me - Gatorade, hot shower, humidifier when I sleep, breathe right strips, naps, and a shoulder/neck/head rub from my nail salon. I had a terrible headache on Sunday and I was in tears in bed. I took a steaming shower and felt much better - not 100% though. The warmth actually opens the blood vessels in your head.
