pulled pork in slowcooker
i'm making it today - recipe called for boneless pork shoulder but i could only find bone in. Do you think it will come out ok in the slow cooker? i didn't change the temp time, wnat to make sure i don't go home to a mess!

It's probably totally fine! How many hours do you have it cooking for, and how many lbs was it with the bone?

thanks! its for 8 hours on low...i think its about 3 - 4 pds

Definitely fine. Plus it will be super easy to pull the bone out when it's done. Enjoy!

I use a pork tenderloin when I make pulled pork in my slow cooker. It comes out great.

Me too but I think the bone in will be fine too. Maybe even more flavor from the bone...

i always make mine with the bone in. the meat is so tender that you can pull it right off the bone. if it seems to tough to come off then cook it a little longer but i doubt you will have to.

thanks everyone! it came out fine, fell right off the bone. it definitely was a fattier cut of meat though than what i usually use i think i preferred the boneless cut.
