Those that love historical fiction come in...

I just finished reading The House at Riverton and I am loving the whole genre. Any other books you can recommend?
My next book is going to be The Forgotten Garden.

Thanks.

Off the top of my head...

Time and Again by Jack Finney--late 1800s NYC
Winds of War and War and Remembrance by Herman Wouk--WWII era. They are long, but incredible. Like one of those books you never want to end. Love, love, love!

Those that love historical fiction come in...

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
The Bronze Horseman series by Paullina Simons
Phillippa Gregory (but be careful because some of her stuff is beyond awful)
Anything by Susanna Kearsley

I love this genre.... Fm me if you want more specific recs.

The North and South trilogy by John Jakes (it was 1,000 times better than the mini series although Patrick Swazye was adorable in it).

I just finished The Beggar King. It is the third in a series.

The First was the Hangman's daughter and the second was the Dark Monk.

They are set in Bavaria in the 1600s. I have really enjoyed them
