Both of my boys have winter B-days....

BUT I was thinking this year, since we are all moved into our new house, to have a big pool party for them over the summer .. One turned 13 and the other 10, and I figured that since neither one of them have ever had a pool party before this would be great..

Do you think that doing this, even though their birthdays are past is ok ? I wouldn't want anyone to think that I'm looking for gifts or anything of the sort just want to celebrate in a way we never could before ...

Input please!!!!!

Why not just have a pool party for no reason?
Or do a 4th of July or end of school year party?

I think it is odd to make them their Bday parties. I would just have an "end of year pool party" or in August have an "end of summer" pool party.

Do it as a half birthday party.

As long as they don't have a winter birthday party, I see no reason you can't bill it as a "half birthday party". But, you can also just have a pool party that isn't related to their birthdays at all.

Thanks for the input later !!

Neither one of them had birthday parties this year because I told them we could hold off until the summer if they wanted... BUT maybe I will just do a end of school party for them and their friends...
