FRER....Faint Line and then retested No Line?
Hello! I am pretty new to this site. I tested using FRER and at first it seemed like no line and later I looked again and did see a faint line, I thought for sure it was BFP. That was about 9DPO, today at 10 DPO I retested with same brand test and clear as ever 1 line? Was what I saw an evaporation line? I thought I read unlikely with pink dye test? I guess I will know for sure if AF doesn't arrive in 5 days?

How long did you wait from when you first peed on the stick to the faint line? If it was more than 10 minutes it could have been an evaporation line
Try with FMU with a digital at 11dpo; those results would be more accurate
Good Luck

It is possible that it could be an evap line. Evaps are not really common with FRER though, so I would definitely test again in like 3 days. I know its painful to wait- believe me!! I tested at 10 DPO AND 12 DPO with FRER and had no line AT ALL. Then on 15 DPO I had a really faint one. 16 DPO it was pink! So its hard to tell this early still. I would wait until you are at least at 13 or 14 DPO, test using first morning urine, and also pee in a cup and let the test sit in the cup for a good 30 seconds or so. If a line doesn't show up within 10 min its no good. Evaps will make you crazy!

FRER....Faint Line and then retested No Line?
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! I am trying for my 2nd, but with my 1st, he was my honeymoon baby so I was never looking for any of the classic signs, never thought I would get pregnant that quick. So, this is all so new for me. I am going to hold out until Wednesday to retest, I am due for AF Thursday and I always on time. So, just a few more days....thanks again!

Also, it's strange about evaporation lines. What makes them happen? Not all tests have one....even the 2nd test is still one line. I am eager to test but trying to hold out as long as I can...my symptom is that I have had spotting these last few days and I know I had this with my son too, so I am just staying positive...hoping it's not AF making her way...

Everyone already posted good info. If you're questioning an evap line, I'd go with a digital...but wait as pp stated.
I just wanted to add waiting stinks!!!!! I'm trying to wait until Th. to test at 12 DPO.
