Traveling overseas with bagged breast milk or formula
Has anyone traveled on a plane with bagged breast milk or formula? I have a 6 month old and was wondering how to take extra milk for him. It's a really long flight. Thank you in advance.

Do you pump exclusively? Or can you just nurse on the plane? I know to will be able to bring some milk/formula with you. I'm just not 100% sure about the amounts.

You can take in the cabin as much as you would need for the flight. Anything more would have to be stored in the hold.

I have done this a few times, I had to taste the milk before boarding the plane, I stuck my finger in and popped it in my mouth. I brought a small cooler bag with the frozen milk and pumped with my hand pump in the bathroom. It was fine, I also bought formula but my son never had any. Good luck!

Thank you everyone. I nurse but lately I have been needing to give him extra. He's always hungry! Lol. Thank you for all your input.
