I'm afraid I won't be giving you any hope- IT"S ROUGH!!! BUT, just keep thinking - it's almost over, it's almost over...
That's really the only thing that got me through.
Sorry you're so uncomfortable.

I hear you! I actually worked 3 days past my due date. I live and work in the city, so didn't have much of a commute, but it was still tough. Just hang in there, and remember what's waiting for you on the other side! Good luck.

It's rough. At the end of week 36 we had to parties to go to. FH was rubbing my back the entire time. I could barely keep my eyes open. The second party I bailed because I was so tired and nauseous. I swear tiny tot knew how misserable I was. She did me a hugggggggggggeeeeeeeee favor and came out 37w1d

The end is almost here my dear. Soon you will have a gorgeous baby in your arms Chat Icon

It's hard but I just did it with my last 2 and plan on doing it again. The hard part last pregnancy was the sciatica. I was in so much pain but I knew I wanted the most amount of time with my baby once she was born so I did what I had to do.

I worked up to 38 weeks with my DS and he was delivered at 39 weeks it was very rough!

This time with twins, I am working from home..since last week...I'm 32 weeks now, the driving and walking around a huge office building was becoming too much. But luckily I can log on from home.

I just kept reminding myself that it would be over soon and then I'd have all that time with the baby instead of time sitting at home waiting for her or him

Chat Icon hope it goes quick for you!

I've done it two times already. I'll be honest, I still b!tch and moan about it. This morning as I was trying first wake up, then to roll myself off the bed, I said out loud, "This is ridiculous."

I worked until Thursday and had ds on Sunday. I have a very physical job so I think that kept me going but I was definitely tired but my alternative was being home with 2 two year olds. Hang in thereChat Icon

It was rough, I will admit. It took me forever to get out of bed, showered and dressed. Plus I have an hour commute to work. But I have a wonderful boss who did not care that I cam in late and left early. I worked up until 38w and gave birth 38w3d.
Don't overdo it. Lots of luck!!!

Re: How did you mommies that work up to delvery do it!!!

I worked until I went into labor...2 days past my due date. It was not easy. Some days were downright miserable, but I can't complain too much - I had a relatively easy pregnancy compared with other ladies.

I just knew that I didn't want to sacrifice any of my maternity leave before the baby got here since I was getting such a limited time with her. I just kept that in mind and in the end it was worth it.
