Birth of identical twins but death of one
I was wondering if anyone else has gone through my situation. The night of Sandy I went into labor and delivered two beautiful baby boys, Lucien and Roman. I was just 27 weeks pregnant. Sadly, one of our boys didn't make it through the night and passed away from a nasty infection. His brother was in the NICU for 10 weeks but he's been home for about 2 months now and he's doing great. Although we've been through hell, I feel so blessed that Roman's healthy and I thank God every day for giving me such an amazing family and friends. But, sometimes, I feel so guilty that I'm not being a good mother to Lucien because I'm grateful for my life.
Just wondering if anyone has been through something similar and if you know of any support groups for parents with a similar experience. Also, how do you deal with the guilt.

I am so sorry for your loss. This board does not get much traffic.Try posting on Parenting. There will be lots of support for you on that board. Once again, I'm so so sorry

I agree. There is a woman on the boards, although I am not sure if she posts anymore, who also lost a twin at birth or close to it.
I wish you all the best, I am so sorry
