heartrate/gender

Has anyone found the myth to be true/untrue that girls have higher heartrates?
My DD had a high one, and now so does baby #2.
I'm thinking girl again. :)

Re: heartrate/gender

Both my DD and my DS had identical HB rates throughout each of my pregnancies which is why I was convinced I was having another girl. But nope, same HB and I had a little boy. So for me, it was an old wives tale. Chat Icon

Re: heartrate/gender

last year when I had a girl her heartrate was always fast, so it proved true for me. So far we have a fast heartrate again this time, but honestly I'm not reading into it!

My DS heartrate was never under 155, so it didn't hold true for me.

I'm having twins now, and their heartrates are always so different everytime I have a sono. The sono tech actually told me it was BS. Chat Icon

These are been pretty much my numbers too and we're also having a boy. It has never gone below 150 and I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow.
