runner's knee and less than two weeks until the half marathon

during my last long run, last sunday, i pushed myself too far and ran through the pain for four miles... yes, shame on me

sunday and monday, i couldn't bend my knee from the pain. tuesday i had a much smaller limp and yesterday i had almost no limp.

today is thursday and i'm still hurting. damn pride!!

i want to kick myself for being such a stubborn a$$.

yeah, i'm a stubborn old mule. i was more caught up with the mileage than the health of my knee.

i promise that i have learned my lesson!!

i am wearing my knee brace, today, and i'm feeling almost no pain.

I did something similar a few years ago. Your training is done so rest, rest, rest! I only did elliptical for the last few weeks before my first half and I was fine.

Agreed, rest! I rested a lot the last 2 weeks before my best half! Hope it feels better soon!
