Stork bites?
BTDT moms - were your LO's born with "stork bites"? Stork bites are the pink-purple marks on the eyelids or other parts of the face and neck. My dd was born with pretty prominent marks on both eyelids and less noticeable ones on her nose and forehead. Im just wondering how long these take to fade? DD is absolutely beautiful but I worry about her having these marks as she gets older.

Re: Stork bites?
DD has stork bites on her eyelids. She is almost 9 months now, and they have faded quite a bit but the ped had said they'd likely stick around for about a year. Also, during growth spurts they seem to disappear for awhile, but they do resurface. Honestly, I barely notice them anymore and neither does anyone else.

Stork bites?
DD was born with one on her eyelid & neck. They have both faded a little (she's almost 4 months). Her Dr said it could take years for it to go away completely.

Re: Stork bites?
My DD was born with one on the nape of her neck, it faded around 5 months old, but it does come back every now and then, she's 11 months. Doctor said it will probably stick around for a year or so.

Re: Stork bites?
DD has them on her brow line and back of neck. She is now 17 months and still there. My niece was born with one on her brow line also and it was completely gone by the time she was 3 or 4.
