I bought ice cream dishes and filled them with candy, cookies, etc. the kids loved them. I bought them off oriental trading. Link below

We are giving these for my daughter's 4th birthday (her party is at the Ice Cream Shoppe). I also go the rubber duckies that are decorated like ice cream sundaes because I thought they were cute

We got a crayon holder. It came with a notepad, crayons and was in fabric that folded up. I keep it in the baby bag and always have an activity with me. This favor was hand made but I think you can buy them on etsy.

Best goodie bag/party favor you've ever gotten at a kid's party?
Was just at party city today and saw for $2.99 small sand buckets with sand toys inside. I remarked to dh how cute these would be as goody bags. Kids would love them.

I am not into candy in the favor bags and little Rick rack toy items. We do a piñata and that takes care of the candy. For favors I I just did a bucket and shovel filled with a game of old maid, bubble wand, chocolate covered oreo Mickey and a preschool workbook. This was given to kids bw ages 1 and 5. With the older kids, I put different items in their buckets.

for my son's second bday we had a sesame street theme. we put goldfish, ss stickers, bubbles, a sippy cup and a pack of flash cards with the ss characters. The cards either taught letter, numbers or words. Many people said they liked the goody bag!!

It's a pretty simple idea but kids really enjoy balloons especially at that young age. You could add it to a favor bag or not. I know my DD goes crazy every time she sees a balloon. If you wanted to add them to a bag here are some cute images.

Over the weekend we were at a birthday party and the goodybags were kids hooded towels from BBB. Loved the idea and boys were so excited to use it after swimming and again after their bath. LOL They are cute too... we got a octopus and pirate towel. I think for DS's 2nd bday party we may do that since we are having a pool party. Even though it's Elmo themed doesn't have to be part of the goody bag.

Re: Best goodie bag/party favor you've ever gotten at a kid's party?
I just came home from Five Below with tons of great stuff for my dd's 3rd bday party Sunday! I got the girls (5 and older) Hello Kitty Sand Art Kit and the 3 to 5 yr old girls Hello Kitty Memory game...then I got them all each a Doc McStuffins coloring book...the boys I got super soarers and a football and the little boys sand toy kits and coloring books! Cost me almost $200, but I'd be happy getting those things if it were my kids favor from a party...I don't like the idea of candy!
