Graco SnugRide 40

Hi, do any of you ladies have the Graco Snugride 40 car seat? If so do you like it? My DD is 5 month old and outgrowing her infant car seat heigh limit (26in). I'm undecided about getting her a convertible seat or this Graco one that says goes up to 2 year.

I had the snugride 30 and just switched dd (8 months) over a couple of weeks ago - she's probably around 28 inches. I just couldn't carry her in it anymore, so it seems pointless. she's much more comfy in her new convertible seat. I cannot imagine lugging an infant car seat around... I don't think it would be worth it to get one that accommodates up to 2 years

Just b/c you CAN take it out of the car, doesn't mean you have to. You can just keep the seat in the car on the base.

I actually would have LOVED this seat...just left it in the car and used it the same way as a convertible seat, but it would be great to have the option to lift it out the times DD was asleep in the car and I wanted to keep her sleeping!
