Ok your post just made me want to cry
It made me cry! I have been back at work for almost 2 months now and I HATE IT! My commute is an hour each way which makes things so much worse. Luckily we have family watching DS but I want to be w/ him. I cry almost every day still when I hvae to leave him. I actually went to my job last week to ask for PT but was told no. I can't completey quit b/c I have student loans I need to pay and can't expect DH to pay for my bills as well.
Just to give a different perspective ... Why can't your dh pay your student loan? I imagine he doesn't want you to cry everyday because you miss your baby. Maybe, you can get the bank to defer your loan. If your instincts are telling you to quit or find something part-time I wouldn't ignore it. You deserve happiness.

It was rough and as soon as I started getting used to it I got laid off lol. I'm happy to be a SAHM now though :)

FTWM - How do you feel now that your back at work?
I've been back to work since Feb, and hate leaving them every single day. I had Fridays off for awhile, but that ends this Friday. My four year old asks me everyday when is Friday- it's going to crush him when next Friday rolls around and he sees me getting ready for work.

This exactly. It tortures me to be away from DD every day for so many hours. I don't get enough time with my sweet baby girl and it breaks my heart, it truly does. I want nothing more to be a SAHM and I pray every day to find a way to be able to do it. No luck so far. Tears.
