Crock Pot Virgin here!
I have split chicken breasts that I would like to prepared in the crock pit--this will be my first attempt.
Can I put in frozen chicken? It will be cooking for aroubt 10 hours. I don't want to make my family sick on my first try! Thanks!

I never started with frozen chicken. Can you defrost it for a day or overnight first? I'd do that then put it in.

I don't usually use frozen chicken, but I have in the past and it definitely will thaw and cook in 10 hours so don't worry about that.

10 hrs on low, even with frozen chicken, will be waaaay too long.............your chicken will dry out. I've never done more than 8 hrs on low.........although I guess it could depend on the Crock Pot.

I'm a huge fan of frozen chicken in the crock pot. It's easy for when I forget to take something out!
