Hemorrhoid surgery?
Has anyone ever done hemorrhoid removal? Is it worth it? I've heard mixed reviews about success. I suffer from very bad hemorrhoids

I had it done about a year after my DS was born. I got several very bad hemorrhoids from labor and they just didn't go away. They were both painful and embarrassing in bed since they (sorry TMI) hung out of the anus.
I had an excellent result. The entire surgery took no more than 20 minutes. They were removed and never returned. Recovery was a bit uncomfortable and having a bowel movement was painful for about 2 weeks afterwards (due to the stitches internally) but it was well worth it!
