newbie looking for OB recommendations

hi ladies! My hubby and i have beenn trying for 8 months with no success. We have been to 2 different OBs with little or no help/guidance. I am hoping to find a doctor that wont blurt out my entire case in the waiting room (1st OB) and will not make me wait 8 days before a call back (2nd OB). We live in Rockville Centre so I would like to find someone nearby. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: newbie looking for OB recommendations

I go to Women 4 Women OB/GYN and really like it. There are 4 female MD's and 1 nurse practitioner. I see Dr. Nicole Bell and she's awesome. They are located on Lakeville Road in New Hyde Park right next to the new LIJ Katz's Women's hospital, which is beautiful.

I think you may want to seek out a Reproductive Endocrinologist instead of an OB.

I use Dr Lauren Bashian in Bellmore. She is wonderful.

Usually it's after trying a year unless you are over 35 and had no luck for 6 months.

That's true but I was under 35 and trying for 6 months and decided to seek one out. I am glad I did because we discovered problems and were able to take control of the situation. If I had waited another 6 months then I wouldn't have my DD.
