Question for Real Estate Agents...
Do you pay your own E&O through the company that you work for or does the company pay it or do they not require e&o? If you do have to pay E&O how much is it?
Thanks

Re: Question for Real Estate Agents...
I don't have my own E & O. As an associate broker, I work underneath a broker who is ultimately liable for all of the agents under him (most of whom are licensed sales associates, some are associate brokers like me).
But I don't believe brokers are required to carry E & O by law, so it's up to their discretion if they want it.

I work in the accounting department of one of the RE companies. Our company the agents pay $500 for the year(pro-rate July -June) I think its a 1/3 of what the company has to pay per agent or something like that.
