Temping vs CBEFM so confused..

I'm hoping you ladies can provide some insight. I started temping 3 months ago, first month my chart seemed ideal with the thermal shifts, last month temps were up and down but i still saw the thermal shift when i ovulated. This month same thing, my temps are like mountains.

Here's the confusing part, I started using the cbefm (2nd cycle using it) and this month I've only gotten highs, no peak. FF is saying I ovulated on the 18th?? If I never got a peak on the cbefm can I still ovulate? I'm wondering if my FF chart is wrong or if I missed my O date. I could ovulate late as my cycles vary a little bit. Last month I was on antibiotics for a infection. Idk if that can affects if and when ill ovulate, I don't think so..

My cycles have ranged but the last few months have been becoming more regular.

If anyone from insight to my chart vs cbefm it's appreciate, I'm driving myself nuts, lol

It's possible that it missed your surge. The first cycle in about a year where I didn't get a peak reading, I got a BFP. Go figure!

Did you get a peak the first cycle you used CBEFM? Sometimes it takes a few cycles to line up with you.

I temped for 4 (I think) months and couldn't do it anymore. Got my BFP the 2nd month using the CBEFM. Stick with it, I think it works. I sold it after, and dreading it now that we are staring TTC again.

Personally I think CBEFM sucks. I never got a peak reading and it stressed me out. I did ovulate bc I got a BFP! I had backed up with regular opks and tested in the afternoon after 4 hours of not peeing. Even when I got two peak days back to back w OPK I never got peak on CBEFM.

Thanks. I got my peak this morning! I guess my cycle is just a little longer this month then last month.

I was stressing out thinking how did i miss my surge? In the months of trying I always get a positive OPK. I recently got a cbefm so figured I'd try it. I'm happy to see I still got a peak this month.
