Kale Chip Recipe
Anyone have a good recipe to share? For some reason mine are terrible - very soggy! Love to hear if any of you made them.

Re: Kale Chip Recipe
i ONLY make kale chips with BAGGED PRE-WASHED kale. Washing kale and drying each individual leaf is torture. trader joes organic kale is about $2/bag
i lay the kale flat on a cookie sheet and place in a pre heated oven for about 6 min and flip them, when done i add salt and sometimes parmesean. never salt the kale before the are cooked

Re: Kale Chip Recipe
i salt my kale before it is cooked and it comes out crunchy and yummy.
but the kale does need to be very dry.
i put the oven on 350 and bake for ~15 minutes.
i get my cooking sheet- put the dry kale down on it and drizzle with evoo. i then put salt and pepper. then i cook on 350 for ~15 minutes.

Re: Kale Chip Recipe
A salad spinner works great to get them very dry.
I like salt, & pepper, little garlic & onion powder, & sometimes a little Parm cheese.

i buy the prewashed and cut bag also... sooo much easier!!

Kale Chip Recipe
I just made some and they were awesome right out of the oven but I put them in container and went back for seconds and they weren't crispy anymore. They were hard to even chew. I'm an idiot with this stuff, but is there a way to keep them crispy? Or are you supposed to eat them all right away? Lol

Re: Kale Chip Recipe
let them cool off and then store them in a ziplock bag. my guess is that they were still warm when you packed them then again, i never have leftovers of anything cuz im a cow

Re: Kale Chip Recipe
i feel like they are only good if you eat them right away. but if i have extras to save, i usually wait until they are cool and store in a ziploc bag
