New Faces modeling agency busted
The one with the booth in all the malls that constantly tries to get you to fill something out as ou walk by. I knew it was a scam!

 Ya know, they just replaced that kiosk in the Queens Center Mall and I wondered why! It's an electronics booth now. Surprise, surprise!

New Faces modeling agency busted
a long time ago, when they first started out, I had gotten a job there (to work, not model).
the first day, the woman met us at the place itself in Hicksville and then wanted us to all hop in her car to head to the mall to "recruit." She seemed shady and honestly, no. I wasn't going to hop in someone's car that I just met (even if it WAS for a job.) I said I would take my own car...and she seemed annoyed. I didn't care..who knows if she had insurance, was a good driver, and I don't want to feel like I'm stranded with someone if I didn't like it, KWIM? I followed for like 5 minutes, had major doubts and went with my gut. I ended up home.
Surprised it took this long to bust them.

I feel like the people that fell victim to this scam are the same ones that think Disney is giving away free tickets on FB, or Cheesecake Factory has an overstock of gift cards to be given away for sharing a post

Obviously hiding here but... one of the girls was my BF and my MOH. She always insisted it wasn't a scam. We are no longer close but I'm sad about this, mostly for her children.

Oldest DD was recruited in a mall and landed a few paid jobs. However these guys always seemed shady approaching any and everyone.

there was a boy meets world episode about these mall modeling people back in the day lol it's a funny episode. This scam has been around forever. Glad to see they were busted!
