Husband Needs Job
Hi All,
I posted on here several months back regarding the loss of my husband's job. He was laid off in November of 2012 and found a new job in June of 2013. This was supposed to be a temporary job but it has been impossible for him to find anything permanent. When we were both working and he had a previous job, we were making a very decent living. Then we had a baby last year and I have not been working. There are a few reasons why I cannot work but do not wish to list them here. I am a regular member but would prefer to remain anonymous for this post.
My husband has previous experience in sports-related jobs, real estate and other sales jobs. He is very intelligent and is a hard worker. Does anyone know of anyone hiring?

has he tried Cablevision for sales? They have great benefits plus basically free phone/internet/cable

You can go on there website to see all the opening. It really depends on the actual positions.

Often home care agencies will hire people with a strong background in sales.
Especially if they have good people skills and like to schmooze.
They wouldn't be working directly with the clients per se, but would be more in charge of setting up new contacts and referral sources.
I don't know of anyone hiring either but suggest plugging in key words on Indeed.com.

Dh works in the title industry. Not sure what type of real estate background your dh has but I know a few of the big companies in the city are hiring. You would need legal knowledge but not necessarily a law degree to earn a good living. They are also hiring for more entry level positions.
