City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I know the city mini is the 'it' stroller but besides it being light and easy to fold up I don't see what's so great.....

City mini: pros and cons....discuss
Well what are you comparing it too?
I have one- I like that its light and easy to fold up lol. I used to live in a second floor walk up condo, it was easy to get up ad down while holding the baby, I like that's its the only stroller I've needed- I used it from birth, so no snap n go, no big heavy travel system stroller.
Also the sunshade is awesome for my super pale baby.

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
That is why its so great, being light and having a super easy fold up were the most important to me.

City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I am registered for it based on recommendations and reviews and also b/c of the ease of folding it up and it's maneuverability.

I have it and I love it. It's light and easy to close up. I also love the sun shade. The stroller is easy to maneuver which is great

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
The cons are a small basket and that the kid slouches a bit (I think the newer ones addressed this issue).
The pros are as above plus the reasonable price (you won't be chaining it at the zoo). The shade is the best I've seen. The flat fold is awesome. One hand fold makes it simple!
I personally love it. I would not do any other stroller if I had to go back n do it all over again!

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I love mine! It's easy to fold and small. Lightweight and easy to push. The only con I can think of is the basket is small and there are no attachments included (cup holders, etc). You have to buy them separately.

City mini: pros and cons....discuss
Like other's said, the pros are that it's light, folds easily, has a great canopy.
Cons are that the basket is tiny, need to buy accessories separately, and I hate the straps. They're always loose at the top and digging into DD at the bottom. I really wish they weren't all one piece so they could be more easily adjusted.

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I have the b-agile which is similar, and have also used my friend's city mini. EveryIne has mentioned the pros. The major major con for me is that there is NO support inside. My baby just slumps over sideways and screams. I had to buy another stroller to take me through the months where baby is too big to stay in her carrier but too small for the poor support of these tri-wheeled strollers.
Personally, I liked the b-agile over the city mini bc I liked that my britax carrier snapped right in. I didn't like the converter bar for car seats on the city mini. Makes me nervous.

Did you recline the seat all the way back?

Only when she is sleeping. That doesn't help when she wants to be sitting up, seeing the world.

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I agree with a lot of what others have already said.
Pros: lightweight, folds easily, decent price, relatively speaking. It's super-easy to steer with one hand too.
Cons: Basket is way too small and inconvenient. I barely use it. Accessories are all sold separately. Also, I feel like DD, who is now 17 months, is never entirely comfortable in it when awake. I wish it sat up a little straighter.

City mini: pros and cons....discuss
Cons:
Horribly small basket You have to buy all the accessories (really the stoller is so much $$ it should come with a snack tray) The straps are a pain in the ass to adjust
Other than being easy to fold up I'm not nuts about it...

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I have this stroller and the Britax B-Agile, which is basically the City Mini. I LOVE the Graco stroller, but it is a beast compared to the Britax. Much bigger, bulkier, heavier. But easier to maneuver over rough terrain, handle is higher so it's more comfortable to push, huge basket, nice parent console, snack tray/cup holder for baby, seat seems much more supportive. Aside from it's massive size and flimsy sun canopy, it is an awesome stroller!

City mini: pros and cons....discuss
Pros: super easy to close, fling into trunk, great shade, easily maneuvering
Cons: tiny basket, the wider back wheels always bump into the aisles, especially at Carter's.

Re: City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I have the citi mini and dd always seems to be leaning back a bit. I need to check it out w out her in it. But does anyone know if it is adjustable so she can sit up straighter?
I hate the third wheel. I think they're coming out or came out w a fourth wheel version. Going up and down curbs is hard.

City mini: pros and cons....discuss
I don't like mine,. As PP's said, the basket is useless ( the only thing I ever keep in it is maybe a blanket and my wallet), my DD always looks slouched down in it, yes folding it is a breeze but I find unfolding it awkward (maybe bc I'm on the short side), back wheels are too wide, I bought the parent console but it doesn't sit right when the stroller is reclined..
