Restaurants and Hotels near MSG
Now that I have tickets to Billy Joel in March, can you recommend a place to eat and possibly stay new Madison Square Garden.

If you are willing to take the subway one stop up from Penn Station the Intercontinental Times Square is literally right outside the subway station and it is FABULOUS!
Great hotel.
There is a Bobby Flay restaurant in there too- but I haven't eaten at it.
There is actually a restaurant in Macy's Herald Square that is great.
It's called Stella 34 I think. Excellent food and cool atmosphere too.

I work right at the front of MSG.
The Affinia is across the street. That's where we send our staff. They have a restaurant (Niles) in the hotel that's pretty decent.
If you're looking for cheaper, we've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Chelsea which is also pretty close (walking distance).
Restaurants in the area: Niles, Nick & Stef's (steakhouse); Lugo (upscale pizza & Italian); Tir Na Nag (Irish but pretty good); Mustang Harrys and Mustang Harry's for pub food.

He has a few shows at Barclays and MSG. The Barclays may only be NYE. I got it I. March. There's a show in April and possibly some earlier.
