I tried this one from America's Test Kitchen yesterday and it was perfect. It has a few more ingredients than the recipe I've used in the past but they were tasty and were just the right consistency. My mom made some today and these definitely had more flavor.

So glad it worked for you too! I think it's going to be my new go to.
I have to admit, I originally took the recipe from their cookbook which I bought MIL for christmas. I wrapped it immediately after making these so I wouldn't be tempted to browse more of their recipes. I am dying for that cookbook for myself!

we love this cookbooks. All their cookbooks and we get their magazines.
I tried this recipe but I didn't love it. It taseted great but I didn't think they cooked or formed as well as my original recipe. I have the press from Pampered chef and use their recipe. This reciep was like to soft and they spread out a bit
