What type of Paint?
We're getting ready to paint the nursery. Do we go with Satin or Semi-Gloss?
Any paint brand recc's? We already have a color chosen. Nothing crazy expensive like BM. I know we want to go with Paint & Primer in one and No VOC's.

What type of Paint?
I would do satin for the walls and semi-gloss for the trim. We used Benjamin Moore paint for our house and it was not $$$. I have had problems with Behr paint in the past.

We love behr ultra paint and primer. I use their washable flat. Love it!

What type of Paint?
I don't know how green it is but we really like Sherwin Williams. I feel like it's gotten more expensive but I have found the quality and coverage to be great. They do have a 30% coupon that's good till 12/31- I found it on mommysavesbig.com.

Semi gloss will be shiny in the walls. I normally use flat or eggshell on walls and semi gloss on trim.

I use flat on the walls. I find satin to even be too shiny, I can't imagine a semi gloss.
Our whole house is behr, except for the crown, which is SW.

I did not pay anywhere near that much per gallon. The problem I had with the Behr paint started about a year after the paint was applied-in several different rooms the paint started cracking-it was applied by a professional painter. When I contacted the company I was given a whole song and dance that left me vowing to never use the product again. They do however have a no voc line. It is actually the product I had a problem with--after we purchased our house I discussed paint types with my painter and he said he often encounters more issues with no/low voc paint products.

I would use eggshell or satin (our walls are eggshell...but maybe I will do satin for the nursery?) I think semi-gloss might be too shiny for walls.

We just painted our house and we used Behr eggshell with primer and on all the trims and moldings we used Behrs semi gloss.

I also had a bad exp with Behr. I pay about 36-42 per gallon depending on finish with BM...
