convertible seat for pt cruiser?
Hi all, It's time to move from our infant seat to a convertible seat for my 13 month old (she's on the small side). I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a new seat- I'd like to keep it in the middle of the rear bench seat if possible, and keep it RF as long as possible. I drive a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser (though possibly changing to a 2003ish GMC Envoy later this year), which does have the LATCH system. Thanks for any suggestions!

We have an 02 PT, so it's the same inside. You can put a seat in the center. It's one of the reasons we bought the PT. At the time, it was basically the only "affordable" car with the LATCH system, and center-mounting ability.
We had several versions of the Britax Boulevard (DS had the Wizard, which was the precursor to the Boulevard). When we got them, they were by far the biggest seats on the market. They are still very big seats, and we had no problems. DS was RF in the center with the Wizard, and DD was RF behind the driver's seat with the Boulevard while DS was FF behind the passenger seat.
If those seats fit, then any car seat will fit. I haven't researched convertible seats in about 6 years, so I don't know the latest seats on the market.

I would go with the Britax Boulevard or the Marathon, While these seats may be a bit taller, they are more upright in their installation and as such will fit the PT.
GoldenRod - great to see you online again - hope all is well.
