Taking Dessert to dinner party...
..suggestions please..
There will be a mix of adults and kids and I would like something that does not require a lot of prep or baking on my part

If I don't' want to prep or bake much, I will just buy something at the bakery.
A cake, cookies, etc
If I feel like baking I make Knock you Naked Brownies.

I will usually buy the tub of Nestle Tollhouse Cookies and bake them and bring them. They are delicious.

I get the break and bake ones and they really are so good!
For homemade and easy, I do these blondies. They are delicious and so quick to make. I often leave out the walnuts or do pecans instead. I've also chopped up some peanut butter cups and added those in and they were amazing.

Magic bars are always a big hit. I only use 1/2 of the butter the recipe calls for. They are yummy! Magic bars

break and bake with a sprinkle of sea salt on top is always a winner
Maybe a trifle? Can use a lot of store bought stuff... pound cake, pudding, berries, whipped cream layered in a big dish.

Chocolate pudding pie is easy and so good!
Make pudding. Put in a premade pie crust. Chill.
No sweat!

My quick go to dessert is a chocolate trifle. My favorite way to make it is to layer homemade chocolate cake drizzled with Kahlua, chopped heath bar, homemade choc pudding and real whipped cream.
That being said....lol, in a rush I have used store bought chocolate cake (can even buy entemans on sale and take frosting off, lol). store bought chocolate pudding and cool whip. Easy as can be.
