Do you freeze your sauce. etc. in glass containers?

I have always used the plastic Ziploc containers but so many people have been on me about not doing it because of the potential health issues with heating & freezing plastic. I want to make the switch but if seems so weird for me to put glass in the freezer. Does anyone have particular ones you use and like? I'm thinking maybe flatter to store more easily?

I freeze my sauce in ziplock freezer bags so it takes up less space in the freezer. I let it defrost and then heat up on the stove.

I either freeze it flat in ziplock bags or in plastic containers (marinara usually flat, meat sauce usually in containers).

Plastic containers.

I thaw for a bit before heating.

I live on LI so I figure I'm already doomed with chemicals anyway.

I freeze in plastic containers or baggies. I thaw the containers in the fridge the day before and then reheat in a pot, pan, glass dish, etc. I try to avoid heating the plastic containers

I freeze it in plastic containers and when I need to use it, I defrost it and warm it up in a pot.

Do you freeze your sauce. etc. in glass containers?

I am afraid that freezing glass could cause it to shatter.

I freeze mine in glass pyrex containers and let it defrost for a day when I need to use it.

I think the issue with plastic is heating in it- not freezing.
I freeze in plastic all the time.
I try not to reheat in it though

And me. I use them for storage, but I don't really reheat anything in them. Even if I don't freeze in them, and just keep stuff in the fridge, I will transfer it to something else to reheat it.

I freeze it in Tupperware only... not just any plastic container, I only use tupperware. It is BPA free and holds up better. Then I either let it defrost in fridge or run frozen container under hot water until is loosens, then pop the cube of sauce and meat in a pot and melt/heat it.

I do freeze in ziploc bags and the foodsaver bags due to space in my refrigerator. I never heat in those bags though.

I only freeze in glass. look for the glasslock containers, they are supper thick and don't shatter. home goods has them all the time for good prices. there are a lot of toxins in the plastics when you try to defrost it in the microwave. Also freezing sauce in plastic tends to stain the plastic but not the glass. I never know when I am going to need something from the freezer so I don't always have time (or remember) to take things out to defrost.
