Weight Gain - Medicine Related
So I know this is a total vanity post but I'm getting so frustrated and upset. I worked so hard to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight after DD and this past April I actually was 5 pounds lighter. Since the summer I've put on about 10-12 pounds. I eat healthy most of the time and I exercise a lot. The only thing I can assume is that one of these medicines I am on is contributing to this, although weight gain is not listed as a side effect on any.
My mc was in September and since then I have been put on:
Synthroid (every day) Clomid (CD 5-9 for the past 3 cycles) Crinone (after ovulation the past 2 cycles) Folgard (every day )
Anyone have any experience with these medicines and weight gain? I just want to be able to attribute it to something so I can stop driving myself crazy at the gym and whenever I choose something to eat. I know ultimately I will be gaining weight once I get pregnant again, but I didn't want to start off 10 pounds heavier than my norm, especially since last pregnancy I gained way over the norm and my OB was concerned.
Thanks

I put on 10lbs when going through treatments. It was def the injections from Ivf. Now I can say I lost all my pregnancy weight bc I'm back to that weight. Lol. I can also say I gained less than I actually did during my pregnancy.
It will go away. It's all worth it.

I have gained 20 pounds since I've been on IVF treatments. Most of that is from the medicine. It's annoying but it will go away and it's all worth it.

def the meds. Crinone did it for me esp - my Dr's did say that Crinone would that to u as u retain a lot of water on it. the live IVF with all the injections I ended the cycle almost 12lbs heavier. the moment I went off the meds within 2 weeks I was lighter by 7lbs. I also started a diet to better my chances for FET cycle as the live one was unsuccessful so by like 6 weeks after going off meds I lost those 12lbs. so don't worry, fertility meds would do that to u. for my FET cycle while being on estrogen that made me feel bloated and then Crinone I again gained while dieting and working out. so I started my pregnancy like 3-4lbs heavier than my "normal". by the time I saw OB at 11w he told me to be careful with my weight gain buddy, I wasn't stuffing my face

Thanks ladies. As much as it sux, I feel better at least knowing it's not necessarily in my control. I guess it's all worth it in the end.

I started IF treatments in Feb 2013 now a year later I am up about 5-10 pounds. It really varies depending what point in my cycle I am at. I feel gross. I used to work out more but now I'm scared to work out hard in the 2ww. I gained the most with IVFs.
