My two boys are really the best gifts I ever received, but in terms of an actual present - I guess I would say either the iPad DH got me (something I didn't need and was too expensive and I didn't really want to spend money on but now I feel lost without it ) or my engagement ring. DH's grandmother gave him a special ring of hers to use the stones and he designed my ring (with the help of his aunt at the jewelry store she worked at) and it is PERFECT!

The best gift I have ever received would definitely be the ability to wear the pearl necklace my grandmother wore on her wedding day on my wedding day.

after a very long bout with infertility, the best gift I ever received was my daughter.
However, if we are talking about material things, then it would be a ring my grandmother gave me after my daughter was born. She passed it down to me as I was the first granddaughter and I now had a daughter to pass it along to. It belonged to her mother, it was my great grandmother's engagement ring.

The best gift I ever received was a beautifully cloth-wrapped book accompanied by a letter. The letter explained how whenever life threw a curve-ball or whenever things became tough, to turn to the book, to believe fully in its contents because its content would see me through everything. To always trust what was inside this book. Because this book would never let me down. When I opened the book after reading the letter, the pages were cut out in the middle and replaced with a mirror.
The gift I received was a constant reminder to always believe in and trust myself. I still have it and look to it to this day.

Aside from my two wonderful boys, my best gift was from my DH, a ring with my son's birthstone in it since they are both November babies! This way whenever i am not with them, i still have them with me!
