Suffolk Apartment Complexes
Would anyone care to share their honest reviews of apartment complexes that they've lived in recently? We are looking for a 2br, pref under $2k/month, on or close to the south shore, anywhere from Babylon-Patchogue. Security, a good maintenance crew, and family friendly are our top priorities. TIA!

harborside apartments in west babylon was really good. we had numerous snow storms when we lived there and maintenance was great.
i had a 1 bedroom, but i believe they have 2 bedrooms in your price range.

We lived in Fairfield on the Bay in Patchogue for 2 years before we bought in 2012. I only wish I had known about it sooner. It was by far my favorite apartment. It's very peaceful, right on the water. There isn't a playground or pool but Corey beach is around the corner and you can walk to the bars and restaurants when you need some adult time

Thank you! We do love the area down there. We spend a good chunk of time during the summer at Corey and at Flo's. I actually had that complex on my list to check out, so it really helps to hear from someone who has lived there that they liked it!

Thanks. These really do look like nice apartments, but they're unfortunately a bit over our budget.

No recs but this is JMO---I'd probably consider stand alone house rentals especially if you have a family. It's like playing Russian roulette with your neighbors in any kind of apartment complex.
