Summer Birthdays....
I would check with your DD teacher. DS has a summer birthday. Every year his teacher has picked an alternate day for each summer birthday child to celebrate in class. Some have done 1/2 year birthday and some have picked random a day.

Summer Birthdays....
Some teachers pick one day in June to celebrate all the summer birthdays at once. I would check with him/her first.

Re: Summer Birthdays....
Definitely check with the teachers. Most already have a plan in place for summer birthdays. I know I do.

DD's school has a couple of party days for summer birthdays. Talk to the teacher about it.

Summer Birthdays....
I have one big summer birthday party. I tell the parents the date and they coordinate who brings what.

Re: Summer Birthdays....
I have a summer birthday party too. It's literally a week or two after school ends so that part stunk, but I did love celebrating at camp. That's always a plus and you can still have friends over. At sleep away camp I got to raise the flag on my birthday and got a phone call to my parents. Only thing that stunk was it was usually the 2nd day of camp so I JUST saw them. You can't ever win

DD#1 is a July baby. Her teacher picked a day in June to celebrate it.
I would check with the teacher & see if she already has it scheduled already.

Re: Summer Birthdays....
I have a summer birthday and so does one of my kids. What I have done for the past few years is bring in donughts to camp for his group to celebrate his birthday.
When I was a kid I still remember my second grade teacher having every summer birthday get their own day the last week of school. This way you got to bring in treats and were celebrated just like the kids were during the year. It was wonderful. I think I am going to ask my son's teacher if we can do this for him in June.

My kids' teachers do 1/2 birthdays for the summer kids, so they celebrate on their numerical day in Feb and March.

Re: Summer Birthdays....
I'm expecting another baby in May and my second DD is a summer baby. I asked her teacher if we can bring in a treatto celebrate her birthday in April. Teacher totally understood and agreed to let us bring whenever it's convenient. I won't be in any shape for a celebration in June. My child's birthday is in July. Is what it is sometimes.
