C-sections moms: uterus swollen and tender?
Just checking if this is normal or not before calling the doctor: almost 3 weeks after my c-section, the incision and scar seem to be healing very well, BUT, above it, I can still feel my uterus which is both swollen and tender. Anyone else in the same boat? Any suggestions, or do I need to give this more time?

I would give it more time. At least until your six week appt, unless it really starts getting painful

I would call and ask. Better to be safe.

Re: C-sections moms: uterus swollen and tender?
You'll probably get more responses on the parenting board. I am a c-section mom and IMO both the swelling and tenderness you are experiencing sounds totally normal. I was swollen for prob 5-6 weeks and the tenderness is still there 8 months pp.
Everyone always says that it's major surgery and you need time to heal, but I don't think you really get how extensive the surgery is until you have it.
If you are concerned you should definitely call your doctor but you are probably ok waiting until your next follow up appointment which is hopefully soon.
Feel better!!!
